New release of ZTFY packages, with ZTFY.webapp-1.1.6

A new release of ZTFY packages has been published today. All the new packages releases are referenced in a new "ztfy.webapp" configuration file updated in release 1.1.6.

Most updates are more internal than really visible; their goal was to integrate common features (concerning forms management and back-office skin) from "ztfy.blog" package to "ztfy.skin". This way, future components and applications will be able to use this skin and it's associated features without any "ztfy.blog" dependency.

All packages which extend ztfy.blog have also been updated to include these updates, but the final result seems to be more consistent.

In the same time, new releases of external packages have been referenced, including:

  • Chameleon 2.8.0
  • z3c.form 2.6.1
  • z3c.formui 2.3.0
  • z3c.macro 1.4.2
  • z3c.pagelet 1.3.0
  • z3c.pt 2.2
  • z3c.template 1.4.1
  • collective.recipe.modwsgi 1.6

Migrating from a previous release

If you have built your application with an older release of ZTFY.webapp and upgrade it to release 1.1.6 of configuration file, you will have to make two configuration updates to be able to start your application as usual:

  • in the "etc/overrides.zcml" file, replace the line:

    <include package="ztfy.blog" file="overrides.zcml" />

    with:

    <include package="ztfy.skin" file="overrides.zcml" />

  • in the "src/webapp/configure.zcml" file, you must remove the line:

    <include package="ztfy.jqueryui" />

ZTFY.webapp package, in release 1.1.3

In addition of ZTFY.webapp configuration file, released in version 1.1.6, ZTFY.webapp package, a tool allowing you to initialize a new application instance, has been released in version 1.1.3.

This release mostly includes configuration changes indicated previously.
